Look at the board! You can see there a cluster with the central word “summer”. What words, in your opinion, relate to this phrase?

F.E. swimming, heat, ice-cream, warm, beach, etc.

The theme of our lesson is “Holiday activities”. Today we are going to talk about your holidays, holiday activities and review the tenses of the verb.

Ex.1, p. 10. Make questions with you from the sentences. Example:

SA: When were you born?

SB: I was born in Almaty in 1991.

Ex. 3, p. 10. Holidays are always great. During holidays young people have free time to do what they want and just relax. Draw the diagram in your notebook. And write as many activities as possible you associate with summer holidays. Eg.: Skateboarding, joining a computer club, …

How are you today? What’s the weather like today?  Do you like to watch films? Do you like to go to the cinema and theatre? What do you prefer going to the cinema or theatre?

The theme of our lesson is “Cinemas in London”.  Today we are going to talk about cinemas in London, different kinds of films, TV programmes and your attitude to them.

Read the words and divide them into 3 groups: music, TV programme and films.
